Your Site seems to specialize in Ohada Business Law. Since Ohada Law does not cover all the fields of business law, are other branches of law in force in Ohada member countries excluded ?

Our Network is indeed specialized in Ohada Business Law which already includes quite a large number of subject matters but we may also work in other fields of business law in force in the member countries (legislation on investment etc.). Other fields have even been included (notably barter, internet-oriented schemes ...)

What about " Is your partner in trouble ?"

Under the heading, " Is your partner in trouble ? " shall be reproduced periodically notices relating to undertakings under an insolvency scheme in operation in Ohada member countries (voluntary agreement, administration of the debtor's affairs under court supervision or liquidation of the debtor's property).

In the legal services you provide, what are exactly "the on line services " ?

Under the headings " Services providing Space " two types of legal services are supplied :

- some of them are " on line services ",
- others are " conventional services " .

- The On Line Legal Services

In this framework are available a number of legal opinions on various subject matters of Ohada Business Law. These legal opinions entail :

- the basic legal information on the subject matter concerned,
- legal advice,
- and, in most cases, practical information and a draft instrument in conformity with Ohada sandards.

The delivery of such ready items is of course very rapid and may even occur within a few hours (on-line downloading possible : see the Ebookshop here).

- Conventional Legal Services

Any inquiry for the supply of a legal service other than those mentioned here-above shall give rise to an estimate which will give precisions on the amount to be paid and the estimated time for delivery. Such items will not be available immediately. However, it is of course possible to first order an on line legal opinion and then request some precisions in the framework of conventional legal services.

Is it possible to work directly with the members of the Network ?

Various requirements relating to the Network supervision make it necessary to centralize the ordering of services in the Site which shall afterwards make the relevant re-direction. Such inquiries shall be sent at the Emails indicated. Only those who complied with this procedure shall benefit from the warranty entailed in our General Sales and Supply Conditions.

What can I do if I wish to have services in a country not yet included in the Network ?

If in this country, we know a lawyer, we may give you his/her address but although this choice will have been made on the basis of some criteria, we will not have any liability whatsoever in connection with the services then provided.

In addition to the legal services, do you supply services in other fields (for example, in tax matters) ?

Yes, in the framework of pools including various categories of professionals in addition to the lawyers of the Network (chartered accountants, notaries etc.).

How to order in the Site ?

By filling the Form concerned, then clicking once or twice for the confirmation of your order according to instructions to follow. The Form entails somes spaces that must be filled, others the filling of which is optional and which may remain blank. When the first ones are not filled, the message cannot be sent.

How shall the payments take place ?

The services and products ordered shall be fully paid through classic bank solutions (certified cheques, transfers), with Paypal secure payment system, or with expres fund transfers trough entities like Western Union or Moneygram.

- The Ebookshop products (legal opinions, articles of association, books ...) shall be paid upon ordering.

- Professional services (legal and other services) shall be paid up to 40% of the amount upon ordering and 60% before delivery.

In which currency are the prices of your services and products indicated ?

In CFA francs, which are the legal tender in most of Ohada member countries but they are also given in the approximate equivalent amount in some key foreign currencies (US dollar and Euro).

How shall the delivery take place ?

- The supply of the products of the Ebookshop On Line legal Services and the delivery of on line sold books :

a) On-line down-loading just a few minutes after ordering : in the event of payment with Paypal secured system.

b) On-line down-loading or delivery in the email indicated in the order form after checking the information on your payment : other types of payments.

- The supply of Professional Services : It shall take place under the same terms and conditions as the ones indicated in b) here-above when the balance of the price due is paid.

Would it be possible for me to have a paper copy of the legal opinion I ordered ? Yes, it is possible to have it in addition to the PDF file(s) sent by electronic mail, if you fill the blank space provided for in this connection in the Order Form.

Can I mention for delivery an address different from the one indicated in my original mail ?

Yes. Imagine you are the Head of the Legal department of a company based in Tokyo and your superior, about to go to London, asked you to gather the items and information relating to Ohada Law in connection with a business meeting to be held in London within 3 days. You may order the standard legal opinion in this connetion and ask for the delivery to be made directly to your superior in London, with a copy for you in Tokyo. He will have the time to make his remarks and have your feedback before the meeting is held.

Can the information I give on my identity and address to order be disclosed to third parties ?

Any information given to us in this framework is for our internal use and for the handling of the orders. It may be forwarded to our partners in charge of the management of the Secured Space for payment if you have to have access to such Space. It cannot be disclosed to third parties whether it be free or against payment without your prior, written authorization.

Is the information that I give you in the framework of a inquiry for a legal conventional service actually remaining under secrecy ?

We work in the framework of a Network with a set of professional obligations similar to those included in the ethic code of our national bar associations. In this connection, we have to respect professional secrecy and notably to ensure such a standard among the members, we exclude applicants who do not have autonomous equipment and may be obliged to work outside.
